Mods and bootstrap plugins are .jar files — put them in your mods folder and restart. Bootstrap plugins load before the game does, so install one of those first if a mod lists it as a dependency. Prefabs are .prefab.json files you paste into a world with your build tool. Worlds unzip into universe; translations unzip beside the game's own language files. Full steps on the install guide.
